Artist's Comments

On a street near South Bank in Brisbane. On Rodney and my photo-taking mission.

Rincewind looked down at him and grinned slowly. It was a wide, manic and utterly humourless rictus that was the sort of grin that is normally accompanied by small riverside birds wandering in and out picking scraps out of the teeth.

Maybe with this shot, crop a little bit off the bottom to really frame the light streaks and the clouds. I also find the leaves on the right a bit distracting; i think either crop them out, or next time you shoot, try to include more of the tree in the frame :)
Yeah they are but I only shot a few and then we moved on, it wasn't really planned ;P Unfortunately, I probably won't be going back there as it was in Brisbane, and I have no idea where we were. :) lol

I love the yellowishred light in contrast to the blue skies.
Thank you :)

*Dances* we were at southbank man. Just down from the Cultural Centre. The shot was of a place called The Design Bank - a mysterious building to me.

I reccon maby a polarising filter might bring out the clouds better. I'll have to try next time i'm there with my bus bag.
